LAHORE: (Friday, February 7, 2025): Punjab University Faculty of Computing & Information Technology (FCIT) participated in the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) and secured five positions in the top twelve. The FCIT teams have shown their outstanding performance in the ICPC 2024 Pakistan region and obtained 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. Teams including IBA Karachi Habib University Karachi, NUST Islamabad, GIKI, Education University, PU FCIT, NED University of Engineering & Technology Karachi, NU-FAST (Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad), University of Gujrat, Bahria University Islamabad, ITU Lahore etc participated. Dean Faculty of Computing and Information Technology Prof Dr Shahzad Sarwar said that this is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication and talent of our students. He congratulated the winning teams.
