LAHORE: (Wednesday, September 16, 2026): Punjab University Institute of Education & Reach (IER) organized a Mehfil-e-Milad Mustafa ﷺ. On this occasion, Director IER Prof. Dr. Abdul Qayyum Chaudhry, Chairperson Department of Secondary Education Dr. Abida Nasreen, faculty members, and a large number of students were present. During the ceremony, Naats in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ were recited, expressing devotion and love for the Prophet ﷺ. Addressing the gathering, Prof Dr. Abdul Qayyum Chaudhry said that success in this world and the Hereafter can only be achieved by following the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He said that the Seerah (life and teachings) of the Holy Prophet ﷺ is the best example for all of humanity. The newly admitted students were also welcomed at the ceremony and prayers were offered for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, the security and prosperity of Pakistan, and the bright future of the students.
