PUOWA condemns Indian terrorism in Occupied Kashmir


LAHORE: (Thursday, August 8, 2019): Punjab University Officers Welfare Association has strongly condemned Indian troops and police for their barbaric terrorist activities in Occupied Kashmir. In this regard, a meeting was held at Committee Room of Registrar’s office here on Thursday. PUOWA President Jalil Tariq, Vice President Dr Tauqeer Ali, General Secretary Ranaz Muzaffar Ali, Joint Secretary Kashif Nazir Hanjra, Publications Secretary Malik Muhammad Waris, Treasurer Muhammad Boota, executive members including Rana Muhammad Aslam, Muhammad Abubakar Darkhshan, Rana Intikhab Alam and Ziaullah Chaudhry participated in the meeting. The participants strongly condemned violation of human rights by India in Occupied Kashmir. They said that India could not press the voice of Kashmiris who are fighting for freedom. On the occasion, Rana Muhammad Aslam presented resolution condemning Indian violence and terrorism in the occupied areas which was unanimously approved. Later, PUOWA former president Iftikhar Chaudhry administered oath to the newly elected members.
