The Pakistan Psychological Association (PPA), in collaboration with the Institute of Applied Psychology, organized an Online Post-Conference Workshop named "Decolonizing research methodologies building upon post humanist qualitative psychology". The workshop took place as part of the 14th International Conference on 'The Social Responsibility of Psychologists for National Solidarity of Pakistan' and attracted participants, including students and professionals, from various universities. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Fahad Riaz Choudhary, Research Team Lead at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, University of Toronto, Canada. The workshop aimed to explore themes such as decolonizing research methodologies and post-humanist qualitative psychology. The session included historical perspective, practical demonstrations and case studies, encouraging participants to apply the concepts in their research and professional practice. The event concluded with a fruitful discussion and Q/A session, reflecting the growing interest in decolonizing research methodologies within the field of psychology in Pakistan.
