Mr. Hafiz Fawad Ali, Lecturer at Hailey College of Commerce, University of the Punjab, proudly represented Pakistan at the 4th EELISA Scientific Student Competition held at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain, where he was awarded the Honourable Mention Award in recognition of his outstanding research contribution. The prestigious international competition brought together more than 150 students and researchers from leading European universities to present innovative research projects and engage in scientific discussions across five disciplines: Engineering, Architecture, Natural Sciences, Economics, and Social Sciences. Participants worked for several months under the guidance of experienced supervisors to develop research papers that underwent a rigorous evaluation process before being selected for presentation. The accepted projects received expert feedback and were presented before international evaluators and academic peers from across Europe. Mr. Ali was also awarded the EELISA Travel Grant, a competitive distinction that supported his participation in the event and acknowledged the quality and potential impact of his research. The grant is awarded to selected participants demonstrating academic excellence and strong research credentials. Following two days of project presentations, expert assessments, and interdisciplinary discussions at ETS Ingenieros Industriales, UPM, the most distinguished research contributions were recognized during the Awards Ceremony of the 4th EELISA Scientific Student Competition. Mr. Ali’s achievements reflect both his academic excellence and the growing contribution of Pakistani scholars to international research and innovation platforms. His participation and recognition at the competition highlight the quality of research being conducted at Hailey College of Commerce and the University of the Punjab.
