LAHORE: (Friday, December 5, 2014): Punjab University Law College’s student Ms Noor Asfia Awan has shown outstanding performance in PU Inter-Collegiate Taekwondo Championship held at Govt. College Chuna Mandi and won Gold Medal. She is a martial arts player who represented PULC and won gold medal in her weight category and in Wushu also. She also got three silver and one bronze medal in machine rowing while one Silver and one bronze Medal in Karate. Other female student of PULC Ms Filza Aleem has won Silver and two Bronze Medals in Rowing Machine and Karate while Ms Madiha Hussain also won one gold and one bronze medal in Karate. Dean Faculty of Law and Principal Law College Prof Dr Shaiza Naureen Qurehsi appreciated the female students and assured them to provide all facilities for the uplift of sports activities. She emphasized to work hard in studies.
