The School of Chemistry, University of the Punjab, Lahore, is pleased to announce CHEMCON-2026, the 24th International and 36th National Chemistry Conference, to be held from 28–30 October 2026 at the School of Chemistry, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan.

The theme of CHEMCON-2026 is “Chemistry for Sustainable Development”. The conference will provide a platform for researchers, academics, students, industry professionals and scientific experts to exchange knowledge, present emerging research, discuss challenges related to sustainable development, and develop new research and professional collaborations.

The conference is an annual chemistry conference of the Chemical Society of Pakistan and is being hosted by the School of Chemistry, University of the Punjab. CHEMCON-2026 is also an endorsed activity of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development. The conference addresses themes connected with sustainable water and sanitation, industry and innovation, responsible consumption and production, and partnerships for sustainable development.

Keynote speakers include distinguished researchers from University College London, Loughborough University, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, National University of La Plata, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, Quaid-i-Azam University, NUST, and LUMS Lahore.

Registration is open for faculty, students, industry participants and international delegates. SCPU alumni and CSP members are eligible for discounted registration. Registration includes tea/coffee, lunch, and conference dinner; accommodation and transport are not included.
