LAHORE: (Wednesday, July 13, 2011): Tehreek-e-Istehkam-e-Pakistan Council has conferred on “Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal Award” to Punjab University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology Director Prof Dr Syed Zahoor-ul-Hassan Rizvi, in recognition of his meritorious services in the field of engineering, having earned PhD in Chemical Engineering from LEEDS University, UK and providing quality educational facilities to students. President National Bank awarded the gold medal to Dr Zahoor Rizvi in a ceremony held in National Auditorium adjacent to Museum. President Tehreek-e-Istehkam-e-Pakistan Sher Bahadur Khan Chughtai and others were also present on the occasion.

Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has congratulated Dr Zahoor-ul-Hassan Rizvi on getting this prestigious award and said it was an honour for the varsity.

Dr Zahoor-ul-Hassan Rizvi thanked the Vice-Chancellor for his support in providing maximum quality educational facilities to students in the field of engineering.
