PU, SZH sign MoU

LAHORE: (Friday, September 26, 2025): Punjab University and Sheikh Zayed Hospital signed an agreement for practical training of students of Allied Health Sciences. In this regard, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding was held in the committee room of PU VC’s office committee room. On this occasion, PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, Chairman Sheikh Zayed Hospital Dr Akbar Hussain, Director CAMB Dr Rehan Sadiq, Chairman Dr Manzoor Hussain and others were present. According to the agreement, students of PU Allied Health Sciences will be able to get practical training at Sheikh Zayed Hospital. In his address, PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali said that students of DPT, MLT, Audiology and Optometry and Vision Sciences will benefit from the agreement. He said that PU will play its role in meeting the shortage of human resources in the field of Allied Health Sciences. He said that producing the best and quality graduates in the field of allied health is our top priority. Dr Akbar Hussain said that PU will provide high-quality training to the students of Allied Health Sciences at Sheikh Zayed Hospital. He said that the students will get quality training with the latest machines and skills of Sheikh Zayed Hospital.
