LAHORE: (Monday, February 3, 2025): Punjab University Library and Institute of Information Management jointly organized a one day workshop on “Meta-analysis: Techniques Tools and Best Practices”. Institute of Information management’s Dr Irfan Ali was the resource person for this workshop while more than 50 faculty members, researchers and medical professionals from Punjab University, University of Health Sciences, University of Education, Shalimar institute of Allied Health Sciences and Lahore Leads University participated in the workshop. The resource person explained theoretical and practical aspects of meta-analysis along with hands-on practice training about two software, (Meta-Essential and Comprehensive Meta-Analysis). Later, IIM’s Associate Professor Dr Muhammad Rafiq and Chief Librarian Dr Muhammad Haroon Usmani graced the event and distributed certificates among participants. The participants appreciated the hands-on training workshop and said that they are thankful to the Director IIM Dr Shafiq ur Rehman and PU’s Chief Librarian Dr Muhammad Haroon Usmani for this wonderful learning opportunity.
