The Institute of Education and Research (IER), University of the Punjab, Lahore, invites sealed bids from interested individuals, firms and companies through Open Competitive Bidding for the public auction of the following lots on an "As Is Where Is" basis:

Lot No.	Description
Lot-I	Raddi (Waste Paper): Old examination answer books, Students' assignments, Used office papers, Used office papers, Used office papers, Old newspapers, Old magazines, Obsolete books, Thesis and dissertations declared disposable ,Any other waste paper approved for auction. , obsolete books, theses and other waste paper. Preference will be given to firms/companies engaged in paper recycling.
Lot-II	Scrap of Wooden Furniture: Un-useable and condemned wooden furniture including tables, chairs, desks, cupboards, benches, racks and other wooden items.
Lot-III	Scrap of Steel Furniture & Other Steel Items: Un-useable and condemned steel furniture and scrap items including steel tables, chairs, cupboards, steel racks, damaged door frames, broken doors, electric water coolers and other miscellaneous steel items.

Tender/Auction Documents may be obtained from the Office of the Director, Institute of Education and Research, during office hours on payment of the prescribed tender fee.

Sealed bids must reach the office of the undersigned on or before 28-08-2026 at 10.00 AM. The bids will be opened on the 30-08-2026 at 10.00 a.m. in the presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives.

The Competent Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or cancel the auction process at any stage in accordance with the applicable rules, without assigning any reason.

Note: Employees of the University of the Punjab, including the Institute of Education and Research (IER), are not allowed to participate in the auction.
