Nepal’s ambassador visits PU

LAHORE: (Friday, August 28, 2026): A delegation from Nepal led by H.E Ambassador Rita Dhital, Ambassador of Nepal, accompanied by Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Purushottam Dhungel, visited Punjab University and met Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali on Friday. On this occasion, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mahmood Saleem and Director Directorate of External Linkages Prof. Dr. Yaamina Salman were present. The meeting focused on strengthening the cordial relations between PU and Nepal and expressing gratitude for the university’s support to Nepalese students. The ambassador appreciated the excellent academic environment, facilities, and supportive atmosphere provided to Nepalese students at PU. PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali while welcoming the distinguished guests reaffirmed the university’s commitment to providing quality education, a conducive learning environment, and necessary facilities to international students, including those from Nepal. Both sides expressed their desire to further strengthen academic and educational cooperation and maintain the longstanding friendly ties between PU and Nepal.
