This is to inform you that the public defense and viva voce examination of  Mr. Usman Shahid, a candidate of Ph.D. Degree in International Relations will be held on 08.07.2026 (Wednesday) at 01:30 p.m. in the Department of Political Science, University of the Punjab, Lahore.  He has completed his thesis under the supervision of Dr. Gulshan Majeed.  The topic of the thesis is “Political Quietism in Contemporary Sufism: A Decolonial Critique on Western Patronage of Sufism in Pakistan after the 9/11”.
