Lahore: The Centre for Clinical Psychology organized a comprehensive Student Orientation Program to formally welcome newly enrolled students of its BS, MS, and PhD program with the academic environment, faculty, institutional expectations, and rules and regulations of the Centre.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem, setting a respectful and dignified tone for the event.

Following the opening proceedings, Prof. Dr. Saima Dawood, Director, Centre for Clinical Psychology, extended a warm welcome to all students enrolled in the BS, MS, and PhD program. In her welcome address, she emphasized the importance of academic excellence, professional development, ethical practice, discipline, and responsible conduct in the field of clinical psychology. She encouraged students to make the most of their academic journey and actively engage in learning and professional development opportunities offered by the Centre.

The orientation program then proceeded with the individual introduction of faculty members. Faculty members introduced themselves to the students and shared their respective academic and professional areas, providing students with an opportunity to become familiar with the teaching and supervisory faculty of the Centre.

An engaging segment of the program followed, during which students shared their thoughts, aspirations, and experiences about becoming part of the Centre for Clinical Psychology. Students expressed their enthusiasm and gratitude for securing admission to a prestigious institution and reflected on their long-standing aspirations of pursuing their education in a distinguished centre dedicated to clinical psychology.

Following the student interaction, students were briefed in detail about the rules, regulations, academic policies, and institutional expectations applicable to their respective program. The faculty highlighted the importance of punctuality, academic integrity, professional ethics, appropriate conduct, and adherence to the Centre's academic and administrative procedures.

The program concluded with a message of encouragement for the students as they embark on their academic journey.
