LAHORE: (Saturday, November 24, 2012): Punjab University Centre for Coal Technology Director Prof Dr Shahid Munir has participated in a meeting for deliberation on draft final report submitted by M/s Snowden on evaluation and re-authentication of coal reserves of the Salt Range and Trans Indus Range. It is pertinent to mention here that Punjab Mines and Mineral Department had engaged M/s Snowden, an Australian consulting firm, for the purpose and it had submitted a draft of the final report to Punjab Government. Dr Shahid Munir was called in the meeting held in the office of the Mines and Minerals secretary as an expert for deliberation on draft final report.
