LAHORE: (Thursday, November 29, 2012): The Punjab University spokesman has said that Nighat Kausar had committed various crimes while violating university regulations and have been involved in incidents of violence and tortured her colleagues in past. The spokesman said that in September 2012, Ms Kausar brutally tortured her one colleague and in Ms Kausar’s written statement dated September 17, 2012, she admitted beating up her colleague. The spokesman said that on sheer violation of hostel’s code of conduct, Nighat Kausar, Zeba Mansoor, Ayesha Qazi, Aliya Riaz and others’ allotment was cancelled and their parents were also informed regarding their misconduct. The spokesman said that Zeba Manzoor and Ayesha Qazi had also misused the names of their colleagues against a reputed teacher of sports department with fake signatures. The spokesman further said that on inquiry, all their colleagues submitted their responses in writing that their names had been misused. The spokesman said on November 16, Nighat Kausar and Aliya Riaz stole original academic documents and other record from sports department and an application was also submitted to police officials for necessary action.
