LAHORE: (Sunday, December 16, 2012): On second day of   International Conference of Applied Psychology (ICAPP, 2012) Sunday 16 th   December, 2012, four pre-conference workshops were conduct at Center for Clinical Psychology, University of the Punjab, Lahore. The morning session included two workshops, “Building Healthy Relationships” by Ms. Maryam Suheyl Umar; and” Behaviors and Attitudes for Promoting Women Leadership “by Dr. Anita Anis Allana and Dr. Nargis Asad. In the afternoon session, Ms. Saima Salman carried out the workshop ‘The Art and Science of Rational Anger Management: Teaching your clients how to control their Anger before it controls them', and Prof. Dr. Jorg Huber conducted ‘Screening for depression and planning mental health interventions for people with diabetes'.

 

Participants and professionals emphasized on the need for more such knowledgeable workshops. The inaugural ceremony of ICAPP 2012 will be held tomorrow at Faisal Auditorium at 9am. PU VC Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will preside over.
