LAHORE: (Tuesday, December 18, 2012): Punjab University Department of Applied Psychology organized a memorable ceremony to celebrate its 50 years of establishment and hosted a lunch in the honour of ICAPP delegates at IBA lawns late on Monday. PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran, Department of Applied Psychology Chairperson Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar, former chairpersons Prof Dr Raafia Hasan and Prof Dr Hamid, Prof Dr Shaukat Ali, Prof Dr Ehsan Malik, Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar, renowned politician Riaz Fatyana, faculty members and a large number of students participated in the event. The students presented mime show, music performance on flute and guitar, parody of a renowned comic show at a private TV channel and a drama based on elections to make the event colourful and memorable and attracted huge applause from the audience. Prof Dr Raafia Hasan and Prof Dr Hamid shared their memories while addressing the participants. Dr Rukhsana Kaushar prayed for further progress of the department. Later, cake cutting ceremony was held.
