LAHORE: (Wednesday, December 19, 2012): Four post-conference workshops of International Conference on Applied Psychology (ICAPP) being organized by Department of Applied Psychology in collaboration with Psychology Subcommittee of HEC’s Committee for the Development of Social Science and Humanities in Pakistan (CDSSHP) under the theme of “Psychology and Challenges of the Modern World” were held on Centre for Clinical Psychology here on Wednesday.

International and local scholars and a large number of students participated in the workshops. In the first session, two workshops were held and Ms. Saira Munaf Khan, a psychologist, trainer, and director Treadstone was the resource person for the workshop 'Procrastination and its Management' while Mr. Faiz Younas Butt was the coordinator. The second workshop was 'Estimation of Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient in Psychological Research', coordinated by Dr. Rafia Rafique and Dr. Debdulal Dutta Roy, who is Assistant Professor in Psychology Research Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India was the resource person for the workshop. Two workshops were held in the second session. Mr. Mehrab Khan, director Treadstone and assistant director logistics in Noor Khan Educational Society Pakistan, conducted the workshop titled 'Success and Achievement', coordinated by Mr. Faiz Younas Butt. The other workshop titled 'Application of NVivo Software for Qualitative Data Analysis relating to Industrial & Organizational Psychology' was conducted by Mr. Rab Nawaz Lodhi from Bahria University Islamabad, Pakistan. Coordinator for this workshop was Ms. Afifa Anjum.
