LAHORE: (Saturday, December 29, 2012): Because of special focus of the current administration on promotion of research culture, Punjab University has produced PhDs in the subjects where research work was ignored in the past. Dr Nadeem Shafique did his PhD in Statistics, Dr Hafiz Rizwana did her PhD in Math and Dr Farhat Zafar did her PhD in Law. They were the only PhDs in their subjects this year.
