LAHORE: (Wednesday, January 02, 2013): Punjab University has awarded 05 PhD degrees to the scholars in which Bushra Tabassum D/o Muhammad Ramzan in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of her thesis entitled “siRNA Based Gene Silencing of Potato Virus Y”, Nasir Ahmad S/o Rashid Ahmad in the subject of Biological Sciences after approval of his thesis entitled “Amylolytic Enzyme(s) From Hyperthermophilic Archaea: Cloning and Characterization’’, Zia ur Rehman S/o Muhammad Shamoon Samim in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his thesis entitled “Al Tafseer-Ul-Kashif Manhaj Wa Tafurdat”, Shafaq Rasheed D/o Malik Abdul Rasheed in the subject of Punjabi after approval of her thesis entitled “Si Harfi [Mudh Qadeem Ton 2007 Tikr]” and Mamoona Mushtaq D/o Muhammad Mushtaq in the subject of Applied Psychology after approval of her thesis entitled “Psychological Risk Factors and Coping Strategies of Hypertension”.
