LAHORE: (Monday, January 07, 2013): Addressing the laptop distribution ceremony, Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran said that we were proud of your arrival because you come of the family who made Pakistan the only Islamic nuclear power and did not take care of immense foreign pressure.

He paid tribute to Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif for introducing reforms and acknowledging merit in education sector which had resulted in today's ceremony of distribution of laptops. He congratulated students and said that they would measure up the expectations of the chief minister.

Dr Kamran said that around 750 verses of Holy Quran, which is 1/8 th of the Holy Book, stressed to focus on resolving mysteries of the universe and the CM's initiatives would help follow these instructions. As many as 10212 laptops were distributed among talented students out of which 5565 are female and 4647 are male students.
