LAHORE: (Tuesday, January 08, 2013): Punjab University has awarded 05 PhD degrees to the scholars in which Saira Taj D/o Taj Muhammad in the subject of Education after approval of her thesis entitled “Assessing the Environmental Literacy of Secondary School Teachers in Punjab”, Usman Hameed S/o Abdul Hameed in the subject of Biological Sciences after approval of his thesis entitled “Molecular Characterization of Resistant and Susceptible Sugarcane Clones to the Red Rot and Ratoon Stunting Disease’’, Sajid Iqbal S/o Muhammad Rafique in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his thesis entitled “Contemporary Orientalism on Muhammad’s (PBUH) Life at Makkah-An Analytical Study”, Haroon Hussain S/o Munawar Tahir Hussain in the subject of Biological Sciences after approval of his thesis entitled “Microsatellite DNA Typing for Characterization of Local Cattle Breeds” and Tahir Ahmad Khan S/o Imtiaz Ahmed Khan in the subject of South Asian Studies after approval of his thesis entitled “Economic Implications of Intellectual Property Rights on the Industry of South Asia with Special Reference to Pakistan”.
