LAHORE: (Thursday, February 07, 2013): Punjab University Directorate of Students Affairs has organized “Muqabla Husn-e-Qirat-o-Naat” on Thursday at Centre for Undergraduate Studies. More then 70 students from various departments participated in the competitions. In Muqabla Husn-e-Qirat 25 students participated in which Hafiz Asad of Hailey College got 1st Position, PUCIT student Irum got 2nd Position while Ammar Asim from University Law College got 3rd Position.

The winning students had been awarded with a sum of Rs 5 thousand, 3 Thousand and 2 Thousand cash respectively. In the competition of Naat almost 45 students participated in which Syed Safdar Kazmi from Department of Urdu got 1st Position, Zain ul Hassan Noorani from Institute of Communication Studies got 2nd Position, Ayesha Abdul Qadir from Department of Mathematics got 3rd Position while a blind student Syed Adnan Zaidi from Department of Special Education got appreciating award. The winning students had been awarded with a sum of Rs 5 thousand, 3 Thousand, 2 Thousand and One Thousand cash respectively. Directorate of Students Affairs Director Shahid Mehmood Gull and Deputy Director Syed Zubair Akram congratulated the winning students.
