The second day of International Conference of Applied Psychology (ICAPP, 2012), initiated with the Key Note on ‘Applications of Psychology in War and Peace' by Prof. Daniel Christie, who is Professor Emeritus, Ohio State University, USA.

The first session at Al-Razi Hall , Undergraduate block, University of the Punjab initiated at 10:00 am. The session chair was Prof. Jitendra Mohan , Professor Emeritus of Psychology, Punjab University, Chandigarh, India; and Prof. Farhana Jehangir . The session was moderated by Dr. Naumana Amjad and six papers were presented related to area of Positive Psychology .

The first session at Room No. 1 , Undergraduate block, University of the Punjab initiated at 10:00 am. The session chair was Prof. Manju Mehta , President of Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists; and Dr. Nasar Khan Syed, Associate professor & head of the Department of Psychiatry, Services Institute of Medical Sciences. The session was moderated by Dr. Aisha Sitwat and four papers were presented related to area of Clinical Psychology .

First session at Room No. 02 , Undergraduate block, University of the Punjab initiated at 10:00 pm. The session chairs were Prof. Meena Sehgal , the Director of Population Research Centre and Professor of the Department of Psychology, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India: and Dr. Iffat Dar , professor at National Institute of Psychology, Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. The session was moderated by Fr. Farhana Kazmi and four papers were presented related to area of Scale Development.

The first session at Room No. 03 , Undergraduate block, University of the Punjab initiated at 10:00 am. The session chairs were Prof. Kausar Sohail , Professor in Department of Psychology GC University, Lahore & Dr. Altaf Qadir , University of Peshawar. The session was moderated by Dr. Tanveer Nasr. Overall eight papers presented related to Psychological Implications of Dengue Fever.

Second session at Al-Razi Hall , Undergraduate block, University of the Punjab initiated at 11:30 am. The session chair was Dr. Salma Saddique. Four papers were presented in the session related to area of Cognitive Psychology/Neuroscience , moderated by Ms. Humaira Naz.

The second session at Room No. 1 , Undergraduate block, University of the Punjab initiated at 11:30 am. The session chair was Prof. Dr. Rachna Bharagawa, India. The session was moderated by Ms. Omama Tariq and four papers were presented related to sphere of Psychosexual Issues .

The second session at Room No. 02 , Undergraduate block, University of the Punjab at 11:30 pm. The session chair was Professor Rafia Hassan , she has been chairperson of Department of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab. Lahore, Pakistan for many years. The session was moderated by Mr. Faiz Younas Butt . Overall three papers were presented related to area of Personality .

The second session at Room No. 03 , Undergraduate block, University of the Punjab at 11:30 am. The session chairs was Dr. Anita Anis Allana , Coordinator working group of women. The session was moderated by Ms. Shazia Khalid in which two papers were presented related to the field of Organizational Health .

After the eight scientific sessions , a Key Note on ‘ Does Resilience Protect Against Depression and Improve Self-care in People with Diabetes?' was delivered by Prof. Dr. Jorg Huber . He is a Professor of Behavioral Health Sciences at University of Northampton, England.

The third session at Al-Razi Hall , Undergraduate block, University of the Punjab initiated at 3:00 pm. The session chair was Prof. Dr. Bertolotti Giorgi ; and Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed . The session was moderated by Ms. Afsheen Masood and six papers were presented related to realm of Cognitive Psychology/Neuroscience .

The third session at Room No. 01 , Undergraduate block, University of the Punjab initiated at 3:00 pm. The session chair was Prof. Asir Ajmal ; and Prof. Dr. Saima Saddiqi . The session was moderated by Ms. Afifa Anjum and five papers were presented related to area of Developmental Psychology .

The third session at Room No. 02 , Undergraduate block, University of the Punjab initiated at 3:00 pm. The session chair was Prof. Muhammad Jahanzaib Khan, vice chancellor University of Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Six papers were presented in the session related to area of School/Educational Psychology , moderated by Dr. Mohsina Najeeb

After the completion of 12 scientific sessions , a special lecture on ‘ iREBT-Islamic Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy' was delivered by Saima Salman , Rational Living Inc, Clinical Director, Singapore.

The conference ended with the Panel Discussion by the renowned speakers, Prof. Daniel J. Christie, Prof. Jorg Huber, Prof. Jitendra Mohan, Prof. Rafia Hassan, Prof. Giorgio Bertolotti, Prof. Iftikhar Un Nisa Hassan, Prof. Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan, Dr. Nashi Khan and Dr. Leister Samsuddhir Manickam.
