LAHORE: (Wednesday, January 30, 2012): Punjab University Department of Punjabi on Wednesday organized Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) seminar at Sherani Hall, Old Campus. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran presided over the seminar while Principal Oriental College Prof Dr Mazhar Moeen, Chairman Punjabi Department Prof Dr Ismatullah Zahid, Prof Dr Naheed Shahid, Prof Dr Fakhrul Haq Noori, Prof Dr Syed Akram Ikram, Khateeb Masjid Data Darbar Mufti Muhammad Ramzan Sialvi, senior faculty members and a large number of students were also present on the occasion.

The speakers highlighted teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and stressed the need to adopt preaching of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in our practical life. Prof Dr Akhter Jaffery read a research paper while students presented Naats on the occasion.
