Tehran (P.R) The fact has also been acknowledged by Western thinkers that the ninth century AD was primarily a Muslim century in the fields of science, technology and philosophy. Although scientific activities continued in other regions during this period, the activities of Muslim scholars and scholars significantly dominated all of them. At that time, the real pioneers of civilization and civilization were Muslims. Their scientific and intellectual efforts were superior and distinguished from others in almost every respect. These views were expressed by Professor Dr. Zahid Munir Amer, Head of the Pakistan Chair at the University of Tehran, while addressing the Al-Khwarizmi Conference held in Tehran. He said that Al-Khwarizmi was the first person to transform numbers from a mere quantitative status into a series of relative and symbolic relationships, discovered zero and laid the foundation of algebra. Al-Khwarizmi's ideas laid the foundations for the concepts of artificial intelligence and algorithms. This is the reason why today a crater on the moon has also been named after Khawarizmi. Dr. Akbar Irani, Mr. Mohammad Bagheri, Mr. Younes Karamati, Mr. Abbas Charkhchi, Ms. Zainab Karimian, Mr. Hanif Qalandari, and Mr. Bahram Amir-Ahmadian also addressed the conference, which was organized under the auspices of the Miras Maktoub Iran Foundation.
