LAHORE: (Thursday, February 27, 2025): A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Punjab University and National Commission for Human Development to collaborate in the Prime Minister’s National Literacy Campaign under the ‘Each One Teach One’ initiative. This initiative is in line with Pakistan’s ‘Education Emergency 2024’ and ‘Prime Minister’s Bright Pakistan – National Literacy Drive, Engaging Students’. The MoU signing ceremony in this regard was held in the Committee Room of the Vice Chancellor Punjab University Office. The ceremony was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Director General NCHD Ali Asghar, Director Operations Punjab NCHD Sajid Ali, Director Planning and Development Punjab University Prof. Dr. Hafiz Anwar Asghar, Director External Linkages Prof. Dr. Yamina Salman and Registrar Dr. Ahmed Islam. This collaboration reflects the commitment to increase literacy rates in Pakistan by actively involving students in the national education agenda.
