PU CAD organizes exhibition
LAHORE: (Thursday, September 11, 2025): Punjab University College of Art and Design (CAD) in collaboration with China Pakistan Educational Cultural Institute organized an art exhibition “Commemorating Together Art for Peace”. PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, Head of Political and Press Section of Chinese Consulate General Li Haoteng, Miss. He-Yubing from Chinese Education Association, Miss. Sho Kun from Pak-China Educational Cultural Institute, Principal CAD Prof Dr Samina Nasim, chairpersons, faculty members and students of CAD attended the event. This exhibition brings together 100 artworks that reflect on themes of resilience, peace, and humanity, also beautifully depict the warm friendship between Pakistan and China, alongside the rich cultural tapestries of both nations. A variety of mediums like painting, embroidery, Guasch, digital prints and poster prints are part of this exhibition. This event is commemorated for the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance and the World Anti-Fashcist War. These artworks weave a rich tapestry of historical reflection, cultural dialogue, and artistic expression.
