Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran Highlights HEC’s Role in Promoting Iqbal Studies

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Dean, Faculty of Oriental Learning, University of the Punjab, Lahore, participated in a webinar organized by Iqbal Academy Pakistan and presented his paper on “The Role of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in the Promotion of Allama Iqbal Studies.”
Prof. Dr. Kamran highlighted the outstanding contribution of the University of the Punjab towards promoting Allama Iqbal’s poetry and philosophy. He emphasized that Iqbal’s message is universal and should be taught systematically from school to university level.
He urged the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to provide dedicated additional funding to universities for research, publications, seminars, and other initiatives aimed at promoting Iqbal’s poetry, philosophy, and intellectual legacy in Pakistan and abroad.
