LAHORE: (Friday, November 01, 2019): Punjab University Library organized hands-on training workshop on “HEC databases especially IEEE Xplore Challenge” in the Internet Lab of the Library on October 31 and November 01, 2019. Rashid Pervaiz Khan and Majid Lodhi from A & J Def Tek Consultants, Rawalpindi were the resource persons of the workshop. Chief Librarian Dr. Muhammad Haroon Usmani inaugurated the workshop and asked the participants that every researcher must equip himself with the latest tools of current era to produce effective research output. Resource Persons briefed the participants about the features of IEEE Xplore database, free registration of five IEEE e-learning courses and IEEE Quiz for Pakistan. Faculty members and MPhil/PhD research scholars from 11 departments of the University attended the workshop.
