PU researcher participates in International Workshop


LAHORE: (Monday, September 16, 2024): Punjab University Research Officer Arslan Aslam at the Institute of Quality & Technology Management and Coordinator for the Standardization, Certification & Quality Control Centre, Faculty of Quality and Industrial Systems Management has participated at APO International Workshop on Strategic Marketing for Digital Transformation, held in Islamabad. The workshop was organized by the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) in collaboration with the National Productivity Organization (NPO) Pakistan. On this occasion, as many as experts from 13 countries, including Japan, Fiji, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Thailand, Mongolia, Vietnam, and Pakistan were present to discuss global marketing strategies in the digital age. PU researcher Arslan Aslam emphasized the transformative potential of strategic marketing in today’s rapidly digitalizing world. “As businesses around the world shift towards a more digital-centric approach, the importance of strategic marketing is magnified,” said Arslan Aslam. He said that this workshop has provided a platform for nations to exchange knowledge, collaborate, and drive forward the global digital agenda. The four-day event covered critical topics such as digital marketing strategies, consumer behavior in the digital era, and the implementation of e-commerce solutions.
