The Punjab University Library successfully organized the first session of its “Dars-e-Quran” program during the holy month of Ramzan 2026. The spiritually enriching event drew a large and attentive audience comprising library professionals, students, library users, and staff members.

The keynote lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Hamid Ashraf Hamdani, who shared profound insights into the teachings of the Holy Quran and highlighted their relevance in contemporary life. His scholarly discourse was warmly appreciated by the participants, who found the session both enlightening and thought-provoking.

It is pertinent to mention that organizing Dars-e-Quran is a long-standing tradition of the Punjab University Library, which holds these sessions on every Friday of the holy month of Ramzan to promote spiritual awareness and learning within the academic community.
