Director CEMB-PU Participated in International Public Health Forum, Ürümqi China for Scientific Collaborations

Prof. Moazur Rahman, Director of the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab, delivered an invited scientific talk at the Xinjiang–Central Asia Public Health Cooperation Forum, held on 4–5 July 2026 in Ürümqi, China.
Invited by the Xinjiang Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Prof. Moaz presented his research titled "The Role of Efflux Pumps in Multidrug Resistance in Salmonella – Gram-Negative Bacteria" during the Symposium on Zoonotic Disease Prevention and Control.
The forum brought together leading researchers, public health experts, and policymakers to discuss emerging infectious diseases, zoonotic disease surveillance, and regional strategies for disease prevention and control. Prof. Moaz's participation highlights PU-CEMB's growing international presence and its commitment to advancing research on antimicrobial resistance and global public health through scientific collaboration.
