LAHORE: (Thursday, January 30, 2014): Pakistan’s renowned educational and internationally-acknowledged personality Prof Dr Khawaja Amjad Saeed passed away on Thursday. His funeral prayer will be offered on Saturday as his children are currently in abroad. In a condolence statement, PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran said that the country had faced an irreparable loss and it was not possible to fill his vacuum. He said that Mr Saeed was a legendary educational personality who established Institute of Business Administration and Hailey College of Banking and Finance and it was a rare honor for an educational personality for setting up two marvelous institutions. He said that Mr Saeed was aware of latest up dates in his field and who authored many books which were published in Pakistan and in foreign countries. He said that Mr Saeed was loved by everyone in educational and business circles. It is pertinent to mention here that Prof Dr Khawaja Amjad Saeed travelled over 100 countries in all the continents of world in his search for knowledge.
