LAHORE: (Monday, October 27, 2014): The Punjab University and Higher Education Commission has started distribution of laptops among students of M Phil and PhD under Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif’s laptop scheme. PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran along with Director Planning and Development Tariq Majeed Qureshi paid a visit to Undergraduate Study Centre to review arrangements. On the occasion, the initiative taken by the government was lauded to equip the new generation with latest technology and the students will be able to get benefit in their research projects. As many as 250 laptops were distributed in the first two days.
