LAHORE: (Monday, March 04, 2013): Punjab University Department of Gender Studies organized Annual Sports Gala here on Monday in the ground of department in which a large number of students participated. Different games were played included spoon race, chaati race, sack race, simple running, tug of war, cricket, badminton, luddo, musical chair in the event. Incharge Chairperson Prof Dr Samar Fatima appreciated the enthusiasm of student and highlighted the importance of sports in the academic life of students. The event was closed with distribution of medals to the winner students.
