LAHORE: (Saturday, March 09, 2013): Punjab University Boys Cricket team has defeated Gomal University and qualified for the final match in HEC’s All Pakistan Inter-Universities Cricket Championship here on Saturday.

In the 40-over match, the Gomal University team could made only 131 scores in 35 overs. PU team’s captain Ahmed Akram took 4 wickets while Hafiz Naeem took 3 wickets. The PU team chased the score in just 19 overs. Baber Manzoor made 66 scores, Hafiz Saad made 39 scores and Ahmed Akram made 15 runs. Ahmed Akram was declared man of the match. The captain was also awarded with the same title in the previous two matches of the championship.
