PU extends academic support to UHE
LAHORE: (Friday, September 12, 2025): Punjab University will provide access to its resources to the University of Home Economics (UHE) Lahore. The formal Memorandum of Understanding is signed at PU VC’s office committee room. PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali and VC UHE Prof Dr Zaib-un-Nisa Hussain signed the official document during a ceremony. On this occasion, PU Director External Linkages Prof Dr Yamina Salman, ORIC Director UHE Dr Iram Rubab and others were also present. The primary purpose of MoU is to establish a cooperative relationship between PU and UHE to support the academic and practical training needs of UHE students by utilizing selected laboratory and departmental resources available at PU. PU College of Information Technology, Institute of Applied Psychology and College of Art and Design will facilitate the students of University of Home Economics to access AI and Digital Logic Design (DLD) labs for computing programs, psychological testing tools and experimental setups for BS Psychology students and exposure visits, joint exhibitions, and occasional shared studio or workshop. Prof Dr Muhammad Ali emphasized the role of public universities partnerships in addressing social challenges. He hoped that both universities will work for innovative ideas which would be benefited for society. Highlighting the impact, Prof Dr Zaib-un-Nisa Hussain stated that the collaboration will empower UHE students by enriching their academic knowledge. ![]() Tweet Follow @pu_lhr_official |
